Inspired by the recent global babywearing dance trend, Dance With Me Baby is bringing fun, relaxed babywearing dance classes to Auckland's North Shore.

​As we all know, babies feel safe and secure when they are held close to you - and they engage and respond to rhythm and melody from even before they are born.

​At Dance With Me Baby, we bring the benefits of babywearing together with those of connecting to music to create a fun, inclusive atmosphere for you and your baby. We know it can be a struggle to get out of the house some days, but what could be better than a snuggle with your baby whilst you both have a boogie with other like-minded parents and bubbas?! It's a guaranteed endorphin overload!

So come along and join us for 50 minutes of low impact, high fun grooving (and a flat white afterwards if you fancy!)

Our classes.

Each class runs for approximately 50 minutes, and has a relaxed format. We begin each session with a brief safety check to make sure both baby and caregiver are safe and comfortable using their carrier, and then move into a gentle warm up. The bulk of the class consists of learning and practising fun, easy-to-learn dance routines. There are plenty of opportunities for breaks to hydrate (for either you or your baby, or both!), and towards the end of the class, we do some strength and conditioning exercises (mainly lunges and squats, and a little bit of stretching) before warming down.

​ After class, you're invited to join us for a coffee and chat (if nap times and baby's mood allow!) We currently go to Little
King Cafe (a couple of minutes walk from ​our hall).
